Accommodations
The Division of Housing will make reasonable accommodations when such accommodations may be necessary to afford a person with a disability an equal opportunity to file a complaint with the division.
Who Can File A Complaint
In addition to the parties listed on the file a complaint page, the management or landlord of a mobile home park may also file a complaint against two or more home owners in the same park. You can allege similar or related violations of the act, DREP or program rules.
Group Complaints
Some complaints from individuals make similar allegations. Under section 38-12-1105(2) of the Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.), MHPOP may close your individual complaint and add it to a group complaint against the same respondent(s) when it has to do with similar or related alleged violations.
Respectful Interactions
MHPOP encourages respectful interactions during an investigation. Under section 38-12-1105(2), C.R.S., if you harass division staff verbally, in writing, or otherwise, the division may decline to investigate your complaint.
Records on Open Complaints
Under section 24-27-204(2)(a)(IX), C.R.S., if the program is still investigating a complaint, the complaint records are not subject to public disclosure through a Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) request.
