Fort Lyon is working

The cost per person at Fort Lyon is $18,800 per year – a reduction of over 59%.
The program served 904 unique individuals in fiscal years 2023 and 2024, and 50% of them reported having three or more adverse health conditions. These people represent Colorado's most vulnerable homeless individuals.
In fiscal years 2023 and 2024, 56 residents (29%) enrolled in educational programs to develop the tools to be self-supporting.
In fiscal years 2023 and 2024, 45% of residents (or 407 people) participated in job training.
In fiscal years 2023 and 2024, the success of Fort Lyon Supportive Residential Community has been to transition 47% of residents to housing (240 people).
