Sage Ridge Supportive Residential Community
Sage Ridge Supportive Residential Community
Transitional Housing, Medical Care, and a Supportive Environment
Opening September 10, 2025, Sage Ridge is one of two supportive residential communities that the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) has supported to help individuals experiencing homelessness or diagnosed with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) overcome challenges, develop stability, and achieve goals.
Sage Ridge (formerly known as Ridge View) is a campus in Watkins, Colorado that represents more than temporary housing. It is a place of restoration and a supportive environment where individuals are met with compassion, respect, and the resources they need to grow, stabilize, and reconnect with their chosen communities.
Sage Ridge builds off of other evidence-based models and offers transitional housing, behavioral health care, and medical care to 18+ Coloradans across the state, with priority given to:
- Experiencing homelessness
- Diagnosed with substance use disorder
- Seeking a supportive environment for recovery before securing permanent housing and employment

Transitional Housing
192 Beds for Colorado Residents Seeking Recovery
Sage Ridge’s transitional housing serves 300 individuals per year by providing a safe, supportive environment for adults experiencing homelessness to sleep and receive comprehensive case management, housing placement assistance, and employment support. Residents have voluntarily committed to recovery from substance use disorders and are medically stable for independent living. While an average stay is nine months, residents can stay up to two years.
Withdrawal Management & Clinic
26 Bed Withdrawal Management Facility, Plus Full Medical and Dental Services
The on-site medical clinic serves approximately 700 individuals annually. The withdrawal management program serves individuals in the transitional housing program, with 26 beds available for an average stay of 14 days.
Primary healthcare and dental care are offered to both residents and the general public.
