2025 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count

Last Update: December 6, 2024

The 2025 Point-in-Time (PIT) Sheltered Count is scheduled for Tuesday, January 28th, 2024. The 2025 PIT Count is a sheltered and unsheltered count. Therefore, the Balance of State CoC must count all individuals and families residing in Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, and Safe Haven programs as well as individuals and families who are living in places not meant for habitation. This includes those living in hotels and motels paid for by charitable organizations or by federal, state, or local government programs. In addition to the 2025 PIT sheltered and unsheltered count, a Youth Supplemental Survey will be available to track and measure needs related to youth homelessness. The Youth Supplemental Survey will be available to count youth experiencing homelessness in both sheltered and unsheltered locations.

If you are a provider or are interested in supporting the 2025 PIT, please contact a Regional PIT Coordinator below and check out the Point-in-Time page for resources and training materials.
