The Balance of State (BoS) Continuum of Care (CoC) was awarded Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Round 6 application in 2018.
YHDP is an initiative designed to reduce the number of youth experiencing homelessness. The goal of YHDP is to support selected communities, including rural, suburban, and urban areas across the United States, in the development and implementation of a coordinated community approach to preventing and ending youth homelessness. Additionally, HUD is committed to sharing the experiences of YHDP communities and mobilizing communities around the country toward the same end.
The BoS CoC Community Coordination Plan (CCP) outlines the BoS CoC’s plan for YHDP funding. Funding opportunities related to YHDP will be posted on the funding opportunities page.
