Get Involved with the Balance of State Continuum of Care

The Colorado Balance of State (BoS) Continuum of Care (CoC) is managed by the BoS CoC Governing Board, which includes representatives from each of the ten regions that comprise the 54-county rural and non-metro BoS CoC. BoS CoC counties are shown on the About Us page. The BoS CoC Governing Board Members and other community leaders lead local regional CoC coalition meetings to work collaboratively on their region's homelessness response strategy. Any interested person or entity can become involved with BoS CoC regional coalitions. Meetings occur monthly or quarterly depending on the geographic area and are open to interested parties!

The BoS CoC needs community members and stakeholders who have knowledge of homelessness in their community, those who are now experiencing or have experienced homelessness in the past, and those who are new to homelessness services but want to get involved. The BoS CoC especially values the voices of those who are overrepresented in homelessness in Colorado and across the country, including but not limited to people who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latin(a),(o),(x), LGBTQ+, and persons with disabilities. Your voices, experience, and leadership are integral parts of making homelessness rare, brief, and one-time locally and across Colorado.
