We are excited to announce funding rounds for grants and loans through June 30, 2025. The Division of Housing is anticipating up to $134m of funds being made available to award to projects and programs throughout State Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025). Should additional funding become available, DOH will communicate to interested parties in the DOH enewsletter and either add this to one of the published application cycles or announce an additional application round, depending on funding type.

The development of scoring criteria is actively underway as DOH will shift to quarterly, competitive application cycles for rental and homeownership projects beginning in December 2024. DOH appreciates the feedback we’ve received from our partners statewide and the Resource Advisory Group, and looks forward to receiving feedback from stakeholders in the coming months. DOH anticipates publishing a competitive scoring framework by October 2024, to be applied beginning with the December 2nd application cycle.

Any funds that are not awarded at the end of a cycle, either due to applications that don’t meet threshold requirements or too few applicants, will roll forward to a future round. DOH will communicate whether funds rolled forward to ensure applicants know of the additional availability of funds.

Beginning with the December 2nd application cycle, the Letter of Interest (LOI) deadline will be 45 days prior to the application deadline to allow time for LOIs to be published to DOH’s website for transparency. The LOI deadline for prior cycles has not changed, as listed below.

After submitting an application for one or more of the below funding cycles, applicants can expect their application to be reviewed by the Division and State Housing Board, if deemed complete, a decision regarding an award will be made, and the applicant notified consistent with our current process. Find more information about our application process here. For additional questions, please contact your region’s development specialist.
