Voucher Expiration for Applicants
The Division of Housing (DOH) has created a process sheet on how to expire an applicant’s voucher in Elite. An applicant is a family that has been issued a voucher but has never leased up in a unit. Partner agencies are allowed to expire an applicant’s voucher in Elite without sending any documentation into their SPOC. Please remember that if a family has previously leased up and now has a voucher expiring you must follow the DOH termination process.
In addition to the new Applicant Voucher Expiration Process Sheet, DOH has also created a template letter informing the applicant family that their voucher has expired.
